Power Window SUBSWITCH Removal/Installation: Rear

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Move the power window subswitch component in the direction of the arrow and detach the tabs and hook.

  3. Move the power window subswitch component in the direction of the arrow and detach the pin.

  4. Move the power window subswitch component in the direction of arrows (1), (2) and detach the tabs.

  5. Disconnect the connector.

  6. Remove the power window subswitch component from the rear door trim.
  7. Using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, move the power window subswitch cover end in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure below, and detach the tab while moving the power window subswitch in the direction of arrow (2).

  8. Detach the tabs in the same manner as Step  7.

  9. Remove the power window subswitch from the power window subswitch cover.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
