Power Window Subswitch Removal/Installation: Rear-side

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the rear door trim. (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Detach the tabs at the positions shown in the figure from the rear door trim using a remover tool, and remove the power window subswitch component.

  4. Move the power window subswitch cover end in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure using a remover tool and detach the tabs from the power window subswitch cover.

  5. Remove the power window subswitch in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
