Auto-Open/Close Function For All Windows

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the power window subswitch. (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the rear door trim. (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the front power window motor connector.

Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to rear power window motor terminals E and F, and then inspect the rear power window motor operation.

If the rear power window motor does not operate as indicated in the table, replace it. (See REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Connect the rear power window motor connector.
Connect the power window subswitch connector. (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Operate the rear power window motor and verify the wave patterns for terminals B and C.

- Terminal: B(+), C(+) ↔ ground (-)
- Oscilloscope setting: 2 V/DIV (Y), 1 ms/DIV (X), DC range
- If the malfunction, replace the rear power window motor. (See REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
