Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes

NOTE:

The engine oil pressure sensor and engine oil temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the engine oil pressure sensor or engine oil temperature sensor, replace the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor.

Turn the steering wheel to full right lock.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the front splash shield (RH). (See FRONT SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the connector for the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor using the following procedure:

1. Pull out the connector lock in the direction of the arrow.

2. Press the lock down in the direction of the arrow and disconnect the connector. (See ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR/ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR CONNECTOR CONNECTION NOTE .)
Remove the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
