Resistance Inspection

NOTE:

The engine oil pressure sensor and engine oil temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the engine oil temperature sensor, replace the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor.

Turn the steering wheel to full right lock.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the front splash shield (RH). (See FRONT SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor connector. (See Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Removal/Installation .)
Measure the resistance between engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor terminals E and C.

- If not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure sensor/engine oil temperature sensor. (See Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Removal/Installation .)
