Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror Removal/Installation

NOTE:

• There are two types of auto-dimming rearview mirror. Verify the auto-dimming rearview mirror shape before performing the procedures.

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
2. Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Disconnect the auto-dimming rearview mirror connector.

4. Move the mirror base cap in the direction of the arrow and remove it.

5. Loosen the screw.

6. Remove the wiring harness from the bracket, (type B)

7. Remove the auto-dimming rearview mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below.

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
