Function Inspection

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display the PIDs TP1 and TP2. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST (VIN Y) .) (See PCM INSPECTION (VIN Y) .)
  4. Compare the voltage and opening angle indications for the PIDs TP1 and TP2 with the standard in the table indicated below.
    • If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See Voltage Inspection .)
