EGR Valve Operation Inspection
- Verify that the MAP sensor is normal. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR INSPECTION .)
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Start the engine.
- Access the following PCM PIDs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST
.)
- SEGRP
- SEGRP_DSD
- Verify the SEGRP PID value when the simulation item SEGRP_DSD increases from 0 % to 100 %.
- If the SEGRP does not operate:
- Perform the EGR valve resistance inspection. (See EGR VALVE INSPECTION .)
