Center Accessory Socket Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
.)
- Using a remover tool, move the console up in the order of arrows (1), (2) shown in the figure below, and detach the clips and guides.

- Disconnect the connectors.

- Remove the console up.
- Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the service hole in the position shown in the figure below.

- While pressing the cap tab in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure below, push out the center accessory socket in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the cap tab from the socket.

- Pull the center accessory socket in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below and remove it.

- While pressing the cap tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure below, press the cap in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure below to detach the cap tabs from the console-up.

- Remove the cap.

- Install in the reverse order of removal.
