Rear View Mirror Removal/Installation: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)CAUTION:
- Detach the rear view mirror from the mirror base while holding the rear view mirror by hand.
Otherwise, the rear view mirror may fall off and be damaged.
- Detach the rear view mirror from the mirror base while holding the rear view mirror by hand.
- Move the rear view mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and detach the rear view mirror from the mirror base.
- Remove the rear view mirror. (See REAR VIEW MIRROR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
