Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror Removal/Installation: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the auto-dimming rear-view mirror connector.
- Remove the wiring harness clip.CAUTION:
- Detach the auto-dimming rear-view mirror from the mirror base while holding the auto-dimming rear-view mirror by hand. Otherwise, the auto-dimming rear-view mirror may fall off and be damaged.
- Move the auto-dimming rear-view mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the auto-dimming rear-view mirror from the mirror base.
- Remove the auto-dimming rear-view mirror. (See AUTO-DIMMING REAR-VIEW MIRROR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
