(1) The TCC controls the TCC hydraulic pressure to suppress hydraulic pressure loss and transaxle vibration due to TCC clutch engagement. Therefore, normally, there is a difference between the engine speed and turbine shaft speed. Because the TCC hydraulic pressure is increased by the fail-safe and TCC is performed while the ATF is hot, there is almost no difference.
