Position Memory Switch Removal/Installation
WARNING:
- Handling a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Service Information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). - Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front seat side cover. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Move the tab in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove the front seat center cover.
- Move the tab in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and detach the front seat side cover tabs from the position memory switch.
- Remove the position memory switch.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
