Power Seat Switch Inspection: Notes
WARNING:
- Handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the Service Information before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). - Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity between the power seat switch terminals is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the power seat switch. (See POWER SEAT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
