Rear Seat Back Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

When performing the procedure with a rear seat back removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or soil the seat.

NOTE:

When removing the rear seat back from the vehicle or putting it back in, it can be performed easier by removing the headrest. (See HEADREST REMOVAL NOTE .)

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (With USB power outlet/with rear seat warmer system) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the head restraint.
Fold the rear seat back.
Disconnect the connector. (With USB power outlet/with rear seat warmer system)

Remove the surface fastener.
Remove the bolts.

After moving the rear seat in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, remove the pins while moving the side hinge/center hinge in the direction of the arrow (2).

Remove the rear seat back.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
