Rear Ultrasonic Sensor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the rear combination lights. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the connector.

  5. While pressing the rear ultrasonic sensor tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the rear ultrasonic sensor in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the rear ultrasonic sensor tabs from the bracket.

  6. Remove the rear ultrasonic sensor.
  7. While pressing the bracket tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, push the bracket in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the bracket tabs from the rear bumper.

  8. Remove the bracket.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
