Function Inspection

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display the PCM PID [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT] and [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT_VOLT]. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE (VIN Y) .)
  4. Compare the voltage and opening angle indications for the PIDs [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT_VOLT] and [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT] with the standard in the table indicated below.
    • If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See VOLTAGE INSPECTION .)
