Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map) Sensor/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor No. 2 Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • The IAT sensor No. 2 is built into the MAP sensor. When replacing the IAT sensor No. 2, replace the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Wiper arm (See WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Front suspension tower bar (Vehicles with front suspension tower bar) (See FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Air box complete (See AIR BOX COMPLETE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2 connector.
  4. Remove the screw.

  5. Remove the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
