On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) Test Modes: Notes
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
- Perform the following procedure using the M-MDS.
- Press [Start] for the vehicle identification.
- Press the [Toolbox] tab.
- Press the [Diagnosis] icon.
- Press [OBD Test modes].
- Press [Run] for the applicable [M-MDS display name] from the OBD test modes table. (See OBD TEST MODES TABLE .)
- If the [Mode 1 Powertrain Data] is selected, select [***SUP] (with/without support for each system monitor) and [***RDY] (each system monitor completed) on the PID/data monitor item selection screen.
- Verify the results of each test according to directions on the screen.
