I-STOP WARNING LIGHT (AMBER) ILLUMINATES (SKYACTIV-G) DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Troubleshooting item	i-stop warning light (amber) illuminates
Description	i-stop warning light (amber) remains illuminated while engine is running.
Possible cause	NOTE: After switching the ignition ON, the i-stop warning light (amber) turns off after illuminating for 1.5 s for a burnt out bulb check (at engine start). DTCs are stored in the following modules. Without Mazda M Hybrid PCM Body control module (BCM) With Mazda M Hybrid PCM DC-DC converter (Mazda M Hybrid) Mazda M Hybrid battery Integrated starter generator (ISG) Electronically controlled brake unit SAS control module TCM Instrument cluster malfunction i-stop warming light (amber) illumination circuit in instrument cluster disabled Battery malfunction Battery performance decrease
