Function inspection
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Display the PCM PID [IAT]. (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION ] in the service information.)
- Compare the voltage and temperature indications for the PID [IAT] with the standard in the table indicated below.
- If they do not match the standard, replace the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
