Reading Operation Records Of Rear Seat Alert: Function
- The body control module (BCM) stores the following when the operation status of the rear seat alert changes.NOTE:
- If the number of operation records exceeds 98, they are overwritten sequentially starting from the oldest to the newest due to the limit of operation records that can be stored in the body control module (BCM).
- Operation record status number (factor when operation status of rear seat alert changed) *1
- Remote engine start system operation status *2
*1: Using M-MDS, the factors that changed the operation status of the rear seat alert can be verified as shown in the table below.
REAR SEAT ALERT OPERATION STATUS

| 1 | Rear seat alert personalization setting is turned [Off]. |
| 2 | Rear seat alert is temporarily canceled. |
| 3 | Rear seat alert is malfunctioning. |
| 4 | ROOM fuse is blown. |
| 5 | Battery/lead-acid battery charge amount decreased. |
| 6 | Body control module (BCM) was reset. |
| 7 | Engine was not started within approx. 10 min of closing the rear seat doors. |
| 8 | Rear seat door was opened while the system was determining that the rear seat occupants and luggage were unloaded. |
| 9 | Ignition/Main power is switched ON or changed from ACC to OFF. (Warning start timing occurred.) |
*2 : The M-MDS can be used to verify the operation status of the remote engine start system when the operation status of the rear seat alarm changes, as shown in the table below.
REMOTE ENGINE START SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

- If the remote engine start system is not equipped, the record always indicates [Stopped].
