Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • The fuel tank pressure sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the fuel tank pressure sensor, replace it together with the pressure control valve as a single unit.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the main silencer. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
  3. Remove the insulator (rear). (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
  4. Disconnect the quick release connector shown in the figure while lowering the charcoal canister (main) component. (See QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR (EMISSION SYSTEM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)

  5. Temporarily install the charcoal canister (main) bracket.
  6. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

    3 Evaporative hose
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
