Resistance Inspection
NOTE:
- The low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor, replace it together with the high pressure fuel pump as a single unit.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Disconnect the low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor connector. (See HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
- Measure the resistance between low fuel pressure sensor/fuel temperature sensor terminals E and C.
- If not as specified, replace the high pressure fuel pump. (See HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
