Function Inspection

Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
Display the PCM PID [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT] and [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT_VOLT]. (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION ] in the troubleshooting information.) (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.5T)] ] in the troubleshooting information.)

Compare the voltage and opening angle indications for the PIDs [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT_VOLT] and [WASTEGATE_POS_ACT] with the standard in the table indicated below.

If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See VOLTAGE INSPECTION .)
