P1783-00: (TCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The ATF temperature is the standard value or more.
Preconditions
- Engine is running.
- TFT sensor related DTC is not recorded.

| Possible cause |
- ATF temperature reaches the standard or more and the TCM controls in the system protection condition.
NOTE:
- Switch the ignition off and allow vehicle to cool down.

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See
CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
- Start the engine and wait for 10 s or more.
