Function Inspection

Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
Display the PID FTP. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (VIN L (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION))] .) (See PCM INSPECTION [VIN L (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)

Compare the voltage and fuel tank pressure indications for the PID FTP with the standard in the table indicated below.

If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See Voltage Inspection .)
