Fuel Rack Position Sensor (FRPS)
With engine off, disconnect coupling for the FRPS. Using volt/ohmmeter, set to read 100 ohms. Test resistance: Terminals 1 and 2 approx. 25 ohms. Terminals 2 and 3, approx. 25 ohms. Terminals 1 and 3, approx. 55 ohms. If reading is OK, end of test. If reading is not OK, exchange injection pump equipped with a FRPS.
NOTE:
The fuel rack position sensor is set by manufacturer on the test bench. DO NOT remove or change its function.
