Fuel Injection Pump
The 190D injection pump has a self-lubrication system which is connected to the engine oiling system by means of an oil bore. Oil return flow is by way of ring gap between bearing and housing in the cylinder crankcase. An "O" ring is installed for the clutch space between injection pump flange and crankcase.
Relief throttles are installed in delivery valve holders of injection pump to reduce the hydrocarbon share in exhaust gas. An annular groove is located on the delivery valve holder for identification. The relief throttle is a reed valve, which opens in direction of injection nozzle. The valve seat is riveted into the delivery valve holder.
