Fuel Pump
The fuel pump for the 190D engine, which has a high delivery capacity, allows the fuel system to be self-venting. Venting of the injection pump requires an orifice in the overflow valve. The overflow valve prevents unfiltered fuel from entering the injection pump. See Fig 1 .
