Injection Nozzles
The injection nozzles are of a different design than those of other Mercedes-Benz diesel models. The 190D uses a hole-type pintle design. These differ from the flat pintle nozzle by a transverse and lengthwise bore in the middle of the throttle pintle. A service-free bar filter is inserted in the nozzle holder top.
