Testing Full Load Contact & Airflow Sensor Position Indicator
- Disconnect plug of throttle valve switch. Measure resistance between terminals No. 3 and 2. The full load contact at idle position, should be infinity ohms. At full load, the full load contact should read about zero ohms. At partial load, the full load contact should read infinity. If not okay, adjust or replace throttle valve switch. If okay, go to step 2). See Figure .
- Check continuity of wires from throttle valve switch to CIS-E control unit and to engine ground. Resistance should be about zero ohms. If not okay, repair interruption. If okay, check airflow sensor position indicator.
