Altitude Correction Capsule
- Turn engine off. Steering should be in lock "2" position. Disconnect connector from altitude correction capsule. Connect multimeter and set to volt scale.
- Probe and check voltage between terminals No. 1 and 2 of correction capsule connector. Voltage reading should be 5 volts. If voltage is 5 volts, replace altitude correction capsule. If voltage is not 5 volts, repair open circuit. If no open circuit is found, replace EDS control unit. See Fig 1 .
