Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Test
Unplug CTS harness connector and CIS-E harness connector. Using ohmmeter, check continuity of wire between terminal No. 16 of CIS-E control unit plug connector and terminal No. 2 of CTS connector. See Fig 1. Resistance should be about zero ohms. If resistance is not zero ohms, repair open or short as required.
