Test 22: Heated Rear Window Circuit

Using Harness Adapter (210 589 01 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to combination control module. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 47 at breakout box. When heated rear window switch is on and defogger switch is pressed, 6.2-8.0 volts should exist. When heated rear window switch is on and defogger switch is at rest, less than one volt should exist. When heated rear window switch is off and defogger switch is at rest, 6.2-8.0 volts should exist. If voltage is as specified, heated rear window circuit is okay at this time. If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. If wiring is okay, replace defogger switch.
