Test 4: Diagnostic Output

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to traction control module. See Figure, Figure or Figure. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check voltage between terminals No. 9 and 57 at breakout box. If battery voltage exists, system is okay at this time. If battery voltage does not exist, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . On C230 and C280 models with control module box, check relay module.
