Clearing Codes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1996 Mercedes-Benz E320 and 1996 Mercedes-Benz E300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Clearing codes for combination control module will also clear codes for mirror, steering column adjustment, convenience feature and heated mirror systems.

Using Adapter Harness (965 589 00 40 00), connect Hand-Held Tester (965 589 00 01 00) to data link connector. Clear codes from combination control module using manufacturer's instructions.
