Front seat adjustment motor group, function - GF91.29-P-2103-02GM

Model 163 with codes 241, 242a 

The front seat adjustment motor group consists of four DC motors for the various adjustment directions. The direction is changed by reversing the voltage polarity on the motor.

The seat position is sensed by one potentiometer each on the motors for the adjustment functions. The assignment for the direction of rotation from the motor to the potentiometer is accomplished automatically.

Function for individual motors, left front: 

M27m1 Forward/back motor

M27m2 Rear raise/lower motor

M27m3 Front raise/lower motor

M27m5 Backrest forward/back motor

Function for individual motors, right front: 

M28m1 Forward/back motor

M28m2 Rear raise/lower motor

M28m3 Front raise/lower motor

M28m5 Backrest forward/back motor

Group division 

The adjustment functions are divided into two groups. It is only possible to actuate one motor per group simultaneously. When the seat adjustment switch is actuated for more than one adjustment function within one group, actuation is accomplished in the following sequence:
