Switching on heated seats, function - GF91.30-P-2000GK

MODEL 163 as of 1.12.99 with CODE (873) Electrically heated left and right front seats 

There are two operating modes possible for the front heated seats:

Heating stage I 

When the upper button half of the left front heated seat switch (S51/1)  or the right front heated seat switch (S51/2)  is pressed heating stage I switches on in the corresponding seat. The left LED in the switch comes on and the maximum switch-on duration of 20 minutes starts.

Heating stage II 

When the lower button half of the left front heated seat switch (S51/1)  or the right front heated seat switch (S51/2)  is pressed heating stage II switches on the corresponding seat. The left and right LED's in the switch come on and the maximum switch-on duration of 5 minutes starts.

Control is accomplished by the extended activity module (EAM; N10/1).
