Test Procedure

Connect DVOM between right cylinder bank ME-SFI control module connector 1 terminals No. 32 and 25 (socket box terminals No. 32 and 25). Turn ignition on. With oil level okay, voltage should be 11-14 volts. With oil level too low, voltage should be less than one volt. If voltage is as specified, test is complete. If voltage is not as specified, possible causes are wiring harness failure or defective oil level check switch (S43). Repair as necessary.
