NOTE: This diagnostic information applies to 1997-2000 models with 2.3L engine (No. 111), equipped with Motor Electronics Sequential Fuel Injection (ME-SFI).

Some information applies to C230 (model 202) with and without supercharger.
Some information applies to C230 (model 202) as of 8/96.
Some information applies to C230 (model 202) as of 9/97
Some information applies to C230 (model 202) up to 8/97.
Some information applies to C230 (model 202) up to 6/97.
Some information applies to SLK230 (model 170) only.
