Reverse Light Switch (S16/2)

Manual Transmission Only -  Connect DVOM between ME-SFI control module connector "A" terminal No. 3 and ME-SFI control module connector "D" terminal No. 14 (socket box terminals No. 3 and 46). Turn ignition on. With reverse gear not engaged, voltage should be less than one volt. With reverse gear engaged, voltage should be 11-14 volts. If voltage is within specification, test is complete. If voltage is not within specification, possible causes are wiring harness failure or clutch reverse light switch (S16/2) failure. Repair as necessary.
