Service Intervals & Specifications

Mercedes-Benz vehicles are equipped with a Flexible Service System (FSS). The FSS may also be referred to as Active Service System (ASSYST). The FSS determines vehicle service schedule based on vehicle usage and operating conditions. The FSS notifies vehicle owner by briefly displaying either one or two graphics of a wrench where vehicle mileage is displayed on instrument cluster. Vehicle displaying one wrench indicates service "A" (minor service) is due. Vehicle displaying two wrenches indicates service "B" (major service) is due.

NOTE: Manufacturer does not completely identify service "A" or "B" requirements.
