Injector Spray Pattern
Connect jumper wire between ME-SFI control module connector "A" terminal No. 3 and ME-SFI control module connector "C" terminal No. 29 (socket box terminals No. 3 and 21). Turn ignition on. Hold fuel injectors one at a time in a container. Briefly actuate injector using a shop-made test wiring harness between socket box terminals No. 3 (-) and 2 (+). Observe fuel injector spray pattern. See Fig 1. If fuel injector spray pattern is okay, test is complete. If fuel injector spray pattern is not okay, possible cause is faulty fuel injector. Repair or replace as necessary.
