Clutch Pedal Switch (S40/2)

Manual Transmission Only -  Connect DVOM between ME-SFI control module connector "D" terminal No. 19 and ME-SFI control module connector "A" terminal No. 2 (socket box terminals No. 51 and 2). Turn ignition on. With clutch pedal not depressed, voltage should be less than one volt. With clutch pedal depressed, voltage should be 11-14 volts. If voltage is within specification, test is complete. If voltage is not within specification, possible causes are wiring harness failure or clutch pedal switch (S40/2) failure. Repair as necessary.
