Camshaft Hall sensor task	Detecting the camshaft position contactlessly by means of a segment at the camshaft sprocket/camshaft adjuster. The engine control unit detects from the signal supplied by the camshaft Hall sensor, the ignition TDC position of cylinder 1 (and of cylinder 7 on engine 120, 137) and synchronizes the ignition and injection sequence.
