With the correction programming it is possible to activate different maps of the engine management system in the engine control unit.

The coding is performed with the Hand-Held Tester (HHT) or with STAR DIAGNOSIS. The following maps can be influenced:

Ignition maps for adapting to different fuel quality (except )
Mixture maps for enriching the fuel/air mixture in different operating states (except )
Idle speed on automatic transmission and engaged selector lever position
CO setting on models without TWC (except )
Fault setting conditions for rendering smooth operation identification less sensitive
Cylinder shutoff threshold (on engines fitted with cylinder shutoff)
