Electrical Component Locator: Switches

SWITCHES LOCATION

Component Location
Brake Fluid Level Switch Top of brake fluid reservoir.
Coolant Temperature Switch (100 C) Part of coolant or transmission oil additional fan unit. See Figure.
ECL/Windshield Washer Fluid Level Switch On washer fluid reservoir. See Figure.
Engine Hood Close Switch (ATA) Center front of engine compartment.
Front Door Switch (Left/Right) On respective "B" pillar.
Front Seat Back Inclination Microswitch (Lefty/Right) In respective front seatback.
Front Seat Back Release Microswitch (Left/Right) In respective front seatback. See Figure.
Front Seat Belt Buckle/Belt Comfort Feature Switch (Left/Right) In respective front seat belt buckle assembly.
Front Seat Belt Buckle Switch (Restraint System) (Left/Right) In respective front seat belt buckle assembly.
Front Vanity Mirror Illumination Switch (Left/Right) In respective sun visor catch.
Hibernation Microswitch (Left/Right) Part of respective front seat back inclination microswitch.
Horn/Airbag Clock Spring Contact Inside steering wheel.
Kickdown Switch Under accelerator pedal.
Left Front Seat Back Release Microswitch In left front seat.
Lever Pull Switch (Left/Right) (S92/3s1) Part of respective front seat back release microswitch. See Figure.
Lever Push Switch (Left/Right) (S92/3s2) Part of respective front seat back release microswitch. See Figure.
Parking Brake Switch Top of parking brake assembly.
Release Switch (BAS) On BAS brake booster. See Figure.
Starter Lockout Contact Part of transmission valve unit (ETC).
Stoplight Switch Top of brake pedal assembly.
Tilt Adjustment Microswitch Part of ESC motor group. See Figure.
Trunk Lid CA Striker Microswitch Center of trunk lid.
Trunk Lid Lock Switch (CF) Center rear of trunk lid.
Windshield Washer Fluid Level Switch On washer fluid reservoir. See Figure.
