ENGINE 104, 111, 112, 113, 119, 120, 137 (except, 112.96, 113.99) with CODE (245) Trip computer
The trip computer is informed about the actual fuel consumption through rectangular shaped pulse packages.
The consumption signal is calculated from the injection timing (e.g. 8 liters/hour). One square-wave pulse means 0.2 l/hour.
With CAN compatible instrument cluster: Information is transmitted via CAN from the engine control unit to the instrument cluster.
