CDI AC compressor shutoff, function - GF07.16-P-3010P
ENGINES 642 in MODEL 164.8/1, 203.2, 251.1, 203.0, 251.0 up to model year 2008/YoM 07
ENGINES 642.9 in MODEL 463
ENGINES 642 in MODELS 211.0/2, 219.3, 211.6, 209.3/4
A functional requirement for the AC compressor shutoff function is the AC system is running. The CDI control unit (N3/9) receives the message "COMP_ON" (refrigerant compressor (A9) activated) over the Controller Area Network bus Class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C) from the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73). Where the following requirements are met, the CDI control unit interrupts actuation of the refrigerant compressor:
- Engine speed < 2000 RPM
- Value of the accelerator pedal (B37) > 95 %
If the conditions for the AC compressor shutoff function are no longer satisfied, then the refrigerant compressor is reactuated by the CDI control unit.
